Rosemont Dental Group acquires Borough Crown and Bridge Dental Laboratory, strengthening its Network and Digital Capabilities

We’re excited to share that Rosemont Dental Group (RDG) has acquired Borough Crown & Bridge (BCB), a leading private dental laboratory based in Westcombe Park, London.
This acquisition marks a meaningful step forward as RDG expands its network of independent dental laboratories. More importantly, it reinforces our commitment to a pro-technician model: one that champions technical teams as co-owners, collaborators, and the custodians of technical excellence.
About Borough Crown & Bridge Dental Laboratory
Founded in 1985 by Ian Murch and Andrew Morton, BCB has spent nearly four decades refining its reputation for precision, consistency, and deep-rooted relationships with clinicians. From smile design to complex implantology, their work is trusted by over 50 private practices—and backed by a sophisticated digital setup.
“BCB is a brilliant example of a high-quality, innovative digital laboratory with a long-standing track record of technical excellence,” said Kieran Callan, Executive Chairman of Rosemont Dental Group. “Ian and Andy have cultivated a culture of craftsmanship, innovation, and trust, and we’re proud to help support that journey into the next chapter.”
After first meeting during their training at Guy’s Hospital, Ian and Andy built BCB from the ground up. They began by converting a former hair salon into the purpose-built lab, a great example of their hands-on approach and long-term thinking.
BCB integrates advanced CAD/CAM workflows, 3D printing capabilities, and high-performance milling systems, all designed around seamless intraoral scanner integration. The lab also features porcelain and pressing furnaces to deliver high-end restorative results. Their long-standing affiliations with the Dental Laboratories Association, MHRA, and clinical organisations like ITI and ADI reflect a business that not only leads technically but also contributes to the evolution of UK dentistry.
“We’ve always believed that our work should speak for itself—built on quality, consistency, and relationships,” said Ian Murch. “In Rosemont, we found a partner that doesn’t just understand that philosophy—they protect and amplify it.”
About Rosemont Dental Group
With a growing presence across the UK and a strong pipeline of future partnerships, RDG is building a platform defined by autonomy, innovation, and collaborative growth. Each partnership we form is built around a core belief: the best clinical outcomes start with empowered technicians. That’s why our model is designed to keep founders actively involved, protect cultural DNA, and help each lab evolve on its own terms—with long-term investment and support to match.
We’re proud to welcome Ian, Andy, and the entire BCB team to the group; it’s a privilege to support the next chapter of their journey.
Transaction Advisors
We would like to thank our transaction advisors for their exceptional support throughout this process. RDG’s representation included Faisal Dhalla, Kirsty Odell, Ed Giles, and Daniel Pinheiro from Bevan Brittan LLP; and, Matt Arthur and Alex Rogers from Mayfield Practice Sales. Meanwhile, Thomas Coats from Buxton Coates Solicitors; and Ian Cole from Miller Davies represented the sell-side. Their dedication and professionalism played a crucial role in achieving this milestone for both businesses. We look forward to continuing our partnership in future endeavours.

Empowering Dental Laboratories
One of RDG’s core goals is to support great labs by delivering operational and strategic support behind the scenes, while ensuring each lab retains its identity and independence.
“RDG’s respect for technical teams and the heritage of labs like ours really stood out,” added Andrew Morton. “They’re not here to erase what’s been built. They’re here to enhance it—with digital tools, growth support, and a real sense of shared purpose.”
From help with accounting and payroll to recruitment, procurement, and training, RDG takes care of the background so laboratory teams can focus on what they do best. This support is paired with meaningful investment in digital tools—everything from scanning systems to next-gen CAM workflows—allowing partnered labs to work faster, smarter, and more precisely.
“Technical excellence is the foundation of what we do,” said Robert Brasington, Founder of Rosemont Dental Group. “But what sets RDG apart is how we combine that with real partnership. This isn’t a consolidation story—it’s a pro-technician story.”
